From October 10th through 12th, the Booker T. Washington Model United Nations team traveled to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for the Fourth Annual Alabama Model United Nations Conference. The team debated current political issues in committees such as the Organization for Society and Cooperation in Europe, the General Assembly, the International Criminal Court, Women’s Rights and “Guns ‘n Butter." All of the members enjoyed visiting the campus and participating in the debates.At the closing ceremonies, awards were given out. BTWMUN won 50% of the awards, defeating Auburn University, University of Alabama , Faulkner Community College, and LAMP.
